Jeff Johnston is a committed and dedicated counselor with more than 20 years of experience in the federal courts comprising the Middle District of Florida. Much of his career has been spent representing debtors in bankruptcy proceedings resulting in the discharge of tens of millions of dollars in consumer debts. He is known for excellent research and writing proficiency coupled with superior communication skills and dedication to delivering measurable and consistent results. His practice now focuses on government affairs, construction, zoning, and land use.
Additionally, Mr. Johnston brings over 15 years of distinguished service in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. He currently serves with the 97th Training Brigade at Fort Sheridan, Illinois as Brigade Judge Advocate and holds the rank of Major. Highlights of his military career include a tour of duty with the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia and two tours of duty at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait where he served as Deputy Command Judge Advocate, Senior Trial Counsel, and Chief of Administrative Law earning awards for excellence and meritorious service. He is a former Vice-Chairman of the Orlando Citizen’s Police Review Board and former Chairman of the Community Services Committee of the South Orlando Kiwanis Club.
